Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    Expiration date: 3/6/2020

    DMB Associates, Attn: Mr. Nick Taratsas, has applied for a permit to work in approximately 6.35 acres of navigable waters of the United States to reconfigure of boat docks and recondition existing docks and to add multiple boat slips at the base of the docks. The approximately 6.35-acre project site is located within an existing man-made lagoon that was constructed as portion of the Delta Coves Residential Development (DCRD) at the southern portion of Bethel Island in Contra Costa County, in Latitude 38.04483°, Longitude -121.50993°, San Joaquin County, California., and can be seen on the Bouldin Island USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

  • Record of Decision for eight projects within the Mather Specific Plan, Mather, Sacramento County, CA

    On January 28, 2020, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps), completed a Record of Decision (ROD), in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, for eight projects within the Mather Specific Plan, consisting of: Phase I/II Zinfandel Drive Improvements and Sewerline Extension (SPK-2002-00561), Phase III Zinfandel Drive (SPK-2006-00530), Douglas Road Extension (SPK-# pending application receipt), Airport Commercial (SPK-2009-00404), Commercial Development (SPK-2009-00525), Economic Development (SPK-2009-00526), Parks and Recreation (SPK-2009-00527) and Residential (SPK-2009-00529). The ROD also documents the Corps’ determination that the Proposed Phase I/II Zinfandel Drive Improvements and Sewerline Extension project qualifies for authorization under Nationwide Permit Numbers 12 and 14.
