Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) is proposing to reissue Regional General Permit (RGP) 1 for activities that would cause no more than minimal adverse impacts to the aquatic environment within the Plan Area of the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservation Plan/Natural Community Conservation Plan (HCP/NCCP, or “Plan”), approved in December 2006. The proposed RGP would authorize placement of dredged or fill material into waters of the U.S. pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.     Willow Lakes Holdings, LLC (Brett Jensen) has applied for a permit to discharge dredged or fill material in approximately 7.42 acres of waters of the United States, including 5.47 acres of wetlands and 3,987 linear feet (1.95 acres) of perennial stream channel, to construct a master-planned community. The approximately 187.3 acre project site is located west of 1000 West between the Logan River and Little Logan River, Latitude 41.7095°, Longitude -111.8692°, Logan, Cache County, Utah, and can be seen on the Wellsville USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

  • SPK-2007-01873, Traditional Navigable Water Determination for Walker Lake in Nevada

    On February 14, 2022, the Commander of the South Pacific Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers determined that Walker Lake is a traditional navigable water pursuant to the Clean Water Act and 33 CFR §328.3(a)(1). The determination was made based on a report of findings prepared by the Sacramento District.
