Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPK-2006-00650, Roseville, Placer County, CA - 3/27/2015: Granite Bay Development Communities has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 24.78 acres of waters of the United States to construct the Creekview project, a mixed use development. The 507.3-acre project site is located on Pleasant Grove Creek, in Sections 14 and 15, Township 11 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Meridian, Latitude 38.802215°, Longitude -121.387439°, in Roseville, Placer County, California.

SPK-2007-01905, Butte County, - 3/13/2015: The comment ending date has been extended to April 27, 2015. JKB Homes has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 5.9 acres of waters of the United States to construct a residential, commercial and public facility development that will include parks, open space, and environmental conservation uses. SPK-2011-00409, Vernal, Uintah County, UT - 3/13/2015: Vernal Regional Airport has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 1.67 acres of wetlands and 3,372 linear feet of jurisdictional channels to relocate and expand the airport runway. The 360-acre site is located in Sections 25 and 36, Township 4 South, Range 21 East, Salt Lake Meridian, Latitude 40.4444°, Longitude -109.51377°, Vernal, Uintah County, Utah.

SPK-2005-00485 - Proposed Placer County In-Lieu Fee Program - 3/9/2015: Placer County proposes to establish an In-Lieu Fee Program that would include approximately 212,000 acres of western Placer County, including portions of the following 8-digit Hydrologic Unit Codes (HUCs): Upper Bear (18020126), Upper Coon-Upper Auburn (18020161), North Fork American (18020128), and Lower American (18020111).
