Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

Aquatic Resource Restoration Workshop in Colorado - 1/31/2014: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, along with the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory and Mountain Studies Institute will host an Aquatic Resource Restoration Workshop on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 8:00am to 12:00pm, at the San Juan Public Lands Center, 15 Burnett Court, Durango, Colorado 81301. The purpose of the workshop is to share technical information regarding aquatic resource restoration projects that have occurred within Southwest Colorado.

SPK-2013-00631, Salt Lake County, UT - 1/24/2014: UDOT Region 2, Mason Palmer has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 3.41 acres of waters of the United States to reconfigure the SR-201/SR-202 Intersection. The 18.2-acre site is located at the intersection of SR-201 and SR-202, Section 15, Township 1 South, Range 3 West, Salt Lake Meridian, Latitude 40.73083°, Longitude -112.16946°, Salt Lake County, Utah, and can be seen on the UT-Farnsworth Peak USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-2005-01115, Antioch, Contra Costa County, California - 1/23/2014: Brosamer & Wall LLC, Inc., has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 0.75 acres of waters of the United States to extend an existing storm drain and construct a data center. This project is located on an unnamed tributary to East Antioch Creek, in Section 28, Township 2 North, Range 2 East, Antioch, Contra Costa County, California.

SPD Regulatory Summit 2014 - 1/10/2014: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Division, will host "Regulatory Summit 2014" on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Bay Model Visitor Center, 2100 Bridgeway, in Sausalito, CA.

SPK-2008-00117, RGP-4 (previously 57) Issuance - 1/10/2014: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, hereby issues Regional General Permit (RGP) 4 which authorizes certain discharges of dredged and fill material under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act associcated with construct activities beneficial to the recovery of the Upper Colorado endangered fish species.
