Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

3. USACE Regulatory Program Primer
4. Identifying the ordinary high water mark (OHWM) of ephemeral/intermittent streams
5. Submitting a complete application for a General Permit

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, will hold a Utah Regulatory Program Workshop on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm in Community Room A at the Saint George-Washington County Library located at 88 West 100 South, Saint George, Utah. Community Room A is located on the lower level and is accessible by elevator or stairs. The library parking lot has limited spaces but a larger parking area is available to the northwest at West Tabernacle and 200 West.

The September 13th workshop is open to all interested parties, including the regulated public, consultants, and representatives from Tribes, federal, state, county and local agencies or other organizations. Regulatory Program Workshops are held periodically to inform the public about Corps permit requirements and to provide updates on execution of the Regulatory program in the Sacramento District. Local project managers will be available to meet attendees and answer questions.

There is no charge for the workshop but space is limited to 60 attendees. To register for the workshop or to request webinar access information, please email Craig Brown at Craig.J.Brown@usace.army.mil, with subject line reading “St. George Utah Regulatory Program Workshop.” Be sure to include your name, organization name, email address and telephone number in the body of the message. Your email should arrive by September 9th. Unfortunately, due to limited space, those who do not pre-register may be turned away.
