Public Notices

Under the Corps' Regulatory Program, a public notice is the primary method for advising all interested parties of a proposed activity for which a permit is sought. Soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impacts on the public interest. Public notices are also published to inform the public about new or proposed regulations, policies, guidance or permit procedures.

Public Notices published by the Sacramento District under the Regulatory Program are posted on this page. Once a public notice is available on-line, an email notification is sent to individuals on the appropriate mailing list.

Comments are due by the expiration date of the public notice.  Only comments submitted by email or in hard copy format through a delivery service, such as the U.S. Postal Service, can be accepted.   Comments must be submitted to the address listed in the public notice.

SPK-2001-00147, Issuance of Regional General Permit 1 for Minimal Impact Activities, East Contra Costa County, CA - 6/9/2017: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, (Corps) has issued Regional General Permit (RGP) 1 for activities that would cause no more than minimal adverse impacts to the aquatic environment within the Plan Area of the East Contra Costa County Habitat Conservation Plan/Natural Community Conservation Plan (HCP/NCCP, or “Plan”).

SPK-2000-00386, Lewis Property Project, City of Lincoln, Placer County, CA - 6/7/2017: Lewis Operating Corporation applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 15.055 acres of waters of the United States to construct mixed-use master planned residential community. The approximately 516-acre project site is located southwest of the City of Lincoln and west of Highway 65, Latitude 38.862792°, Longitude -121.327620°, Placer County, California., and can be seen on the CA-ROSEVILLE USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-2015-00923, Oakwood Trails Subdivision Project, San Joaquin County, CA - 6/5/2017: PD Danna LLC & PL Danna LLC have applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material in approximately 1.13-acres of waters of the United States to construct the Oakwood Trails Subdivision Project. The approximately 206.7-acre project site is located near the San Joaquin River in the southwestern quadrant of the City of Manteca, bounded by Rapallo Way, Bronzan Road, McKinley Avenue, Woodward Avenue, Bella Lago Way and Como Drive, Latitude 37.779°, Longitude -121.278°, , San Joaquin County, California, and can be seen on the CA-LATHROP USGS Topographic Quadrangle.

SPK-2016-00412, Eagle River Park Project, Town of Eagle, Eagle County, CO - 6/2/2017: The Town of Eagle has applied for a permit to place dredged or fill material and/or work in approximately 1.38 acres of waters of the United States to construct whitewater park within a previously channelized reach of the Eagle River, immediately upstream of the Eagle County Fairgrounds. The approximately 3-acre project site is located immediately upstream of the Eagle County Fairgrounds, Latitude 39.656162°, Longitude -106.83109°, Town of Eagle, Eagle County, Colorado.
