Area Army Corps parks re-opening in time for weekend

Recreation areas, including many popular waterside campgrounds, are re-opening at the 10 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District parks as the federal government resumes normal operations today – in plenty of time for the upcoming weekend.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulatory offices across California, Utah, Nevada and Colorado are re-opening today as the federal government resumes normal operations.

Area Army Corps projects will temporarily continue if government shuts down

If Congress does not pass a funding bill to continue federal government operations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District projects and recreation parks will temporarily continue to operate using remaining prior year funding.
